On Sunday 2nd September 1666, a devastating fire started in a bakers shop on Pudding Lane, London.  The fire swept through London, destroying 13,200 houses, 87 parish churches, The Royal Exchange, Guildhall and St. Paul’s Cathedral and soon became known as The Great Fire of London.   The resources within this bundle allow children to explore the tragic events and learn how the fire led to some positive changes being made including the introduction of fire services.
