Description
There are 2 activities in this plan; the first activity looks at a map of London and gives the children an overview of where the fire broke out and how it spread. The second activity focuses on the people at the time; their life expectancy and clothing. These activities could be helpful at the start of a unit of work about The Great Fire to set the scene for the rest of their learning.
How To Use
Use these activities at the beginning of a unit of work about The Great Fire of London. The activities will set the scene about London in 1666 and help the children understand what the city and the people were like in that era.
