These activities have been chosen to support our KS2 Fire Safety school talks. After we have visited your school, the activities can be used to enhance student knowledge and understanding of the work of the fire and rescue service and fire safety through fun games and more practical activities.
How To Use
We suggest that the 'Stop Drop and Roll' activity is used in the hall so that the students have a big open space in which to practice. The interactive games, including the crossword and hazard detective game can be used in small class groups on tablets. The smoke alarm floor plan activity could be used as homework to encourage students to discuss fire safety with their family.
