Implementation Framework

Description

Led by the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) the StayWise programme seeks to join up safety education activity across the UK.

StayWise facilitates a more effective, consistent and curriculum linked way of imparting vital life skills to young people creating a safety conscious culture for more resilient communities and generations for years to come. By using the tools within this toolkit and described in this framework, we can strengthen relationships between communities and emergency services and reduce avoidable injuries and deaths.

This document is an overview of the implementation process and provides details of the supporting documents and planning tools available to Fire and Rescue Services to embed StayWise into their prevention practice. It provides a topline case for adoption and links to the HMICFRS definition of a 'Good' FRS.
