This bundle of resources supports the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service Junior Safety Officer Scheme, helping children develop the knowledge and skills to stay safe and share important safety messages with others. Covering fire safety, road safety and water safety, the activities and resources encourage young people to recognise risks, make safer choices and become positive safety ambassadors within their school and community.
How To Use
Use these resources as part of your Junior Safety Officer programme, either during dedicated JSO sessions, classroom lessons or assembly activities. The resources can be delivered individually or as a complete safety education package, allowing pupils to explore key safety topics, discuss real-life scenarios and reinforce important messages with their peers, families and wider community.
