Strike Me a Pose is a fun, confidence‑boosting team icebreaker where small groups of cadets work together to recreate poses from printed photos. With only 30 seconds to plan, teams must communicate quickly, cooperate, and think creatively before freezing in position for a comparison photo. The activity encourages cadets to mix with peers they may not normally work with, helping build teamwork, trust, and positive group dynamics in a relaxed, light‑hearted way.
How To Use
Divide the cadets into small groups of 4–6 and give each team a random printed pose reference. Allow them 30 seconds to plan how they will recreate the pose, encouraging quick communication and teamwork. When you count down and shout “Action!”, teams must freeze in their chosen formation while you take a comparison photo.
Repeat with new poses as needed, keeping the pace lively and fun. Use the photos to review teamwork, creativity, and how effectively the group interacted - reinforcing confidence, cooperation, and engagement. This activity works well as a warm‑up, session starter, or energiser.
