A set of worded maths problems all based around firefighters, their equipment and their duties. A fantastic resource to add more purpose to maths calculations and challenge the children to interpret the questions and figure out the best way to find the answers.
How To Use
This activity would be perfect to fit into a fire safety week or a PSHE day. It would allow the children to apply their maths learning while focusing on this important PSHE topic. Also these problems could be used in maths lessons to provide context to more difficult worded calculations.
