Real-Life Rescue

This activity helps deliver the important 999/112 emergency message through the vehicle of a fictional story about a boy and his dog involved in an emergency rescue.

This session could be used as part of a PSHE or an English comprehension lesson. The story poem and accompanying questions encourage the children to respond to the story and develop their understanding of the events.
