This bundle of road safety resources has been carefully selected to support Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service, teachers and road safety partners in delivering clear, engaging safety messages to KS1 and KS2 pupils. The materials are age‑appropriate, curriculum‑linked and designed to encourage safe behaviours on and around roads through interactive learning. Together, they help children build essential awareness and skills to keep themselves and others safe in everyday travel situations.

How To Use

These resources are flexible and can be used as standalone activities or combined to create a short road safety session or workshop. Select the materials most appropriate for the age group (KS1 or KS2) and adapt delivery to suit classroom, assembly or outreach settings. Use discussion prompts, visual materials and practical activities to reinforce key safety messages, encouraging pupils to ask questions and reflect on real‑life situations. The resources can be used throughout the school year or linked to themed weeks, PSHE lessons or local road safety initiatives.
