Welcome to the 'Just a Normal Day' lesson resources bundle. There are lesson plans, an assembly plan, presentation and worksheets contained to support in delivering an engaging session focusing on the dangers and consequences of deliberate fire setting. These resources were created and donated by Tyne and Wear FRS.
How To Use
The lessons are centred around a video that shows an incident where a small fire that was set deliberately, gets out of hand and goes badly wrong. The video acts as a stimulus for discussion with KS2 and KS3 students and could also be used for fire safety intervention work with individuals.
