This worksheet is for use in a lesson all about railway safety and using level crossings safely. In the lesson pupils will come to understand the crucial rules when crossing level crossings and why misuse of crossings is dangerous for themselves and others. The pupils are introduced to facts about British Railways, the dangers that surround the railways and will have the opportunity to listen to the experiences of different employees who work closely with British Railways. The lesson is centred around a video all about railway safety and this worksheet is for the second task in the lesson plan.
How To Use
This worksheet should be used as a recording sheet for students' responses to the questions about level crossings and electrical wires. There is a video for the students to watch that provides the answers to the questions on this sheet; students should be encouraged to watch carefully and recall the key information to complete the questions successfully.
