This worksheet is for use as part of a lesson all about railway safety and using level crossings safely. In the lesson pupils will come to understand the crucial rules when crossing level crossings and why misuse of crossings is dangerous for themselves and others. The pupils are introduced to facts about British Railways, the dangers that surround the railways and will have the opportunity to listen to the experiences of different employees who work closely with British Railways. The lesson is centred around a video and this worksheet is for the first task detailed in the lesson plan.
