This video is part of Session 4 in Module 4 of FCA 1 and focuses on route finding.
The aim of this session is to provide Fire Cadets with the knowledge and skills to undertake basic breathing apparatus (BA) procedures.
The key objectives covered are for Fire Cadets to be able to:
- Understand the situations when breathing apparatus is used and the benefits of positive pressure.
- Identify the parts of a breathing apparatus set and associated equipment.
- Demonstrate safe search techniques.
- Demonstrate how a team search a room for a casualty.
