Is This Safe? - Red Flags

A short point-of-view film that illustrates the need for beach users to be aware of the different flags that might be flying.  This video and the accompanying activity plan will draw students' attention to the safety flags that they might see on the beach and how to avoid putting themselves at risk in the water.

Use this video with the accompanying activity plan to share important water safety advice as part of a PSHE session or a PSHE day during drowning prevention week.  it could also be a useful assembly activity to use with a larger group of children.
