This resource has been designed to accompany the 'Fire Action Plan' lesson aimed at KS1 children. The main objective of the lesson is to help the children to understand the importance of having a fire action plan and the type of actions that should be included in one. This worksheet exposes them to the main points in a fire action plan and encourages them to illustrate each point to help them remember the steps.

How To Use

A useful resource to help children to become prepared for emergencies and help them to understand how to act if they ever hear their smoke alarms sounding at home. Children are very familiar with the action plan when they hear the fire bell at school, but do they know what to do at home? Use as part of a PSHE unit of work about keeping safe.

The lesson plan containing details about how to use this worksheet can be found a little further down the page.
