This session is about how to stay safe during the bonfire and Halloween period. The session covers important safety messages about how bonfires, fireworks and trick or treating can be dangerous and why making hoax calls during this period can have serious consequences. Students can join in by engaging in some sensory experiences, communicate their understanding with their preferred communication style and learn how to stay safe during the bonfire and Halloween period, about hoax calls and anti-social behaviour (ASB).
How To Use
The Aspiration Level session promotes greater independence in thinking and communication. Young people begin to generalise themed safety concepts across different environments, consider feelings and apply their knowledge through guided tasks, role-play, and simple decision-making scenarios. They may also participate in group discussions and start to explain their choices, demonstrating understanding through questions and answers.
