These are the answers to the activity sheet designed for Year 1 children linked to the 'Alex and the Firefighter - Literacy' video.  The video and worksheet encourage children to think about how bossy verbs give commands whilst also teaching them the importance of having a home fire escape plan for example the commands- stay calm, shut doors, alert others, stay low, find the exit and call for help all contain bossy verbs which could save a life in an emergency.
