Bitesize Video - Fire Action Plan

This animated video contains detailed instructions to share with children about fire safety. The focus is how to react if you hear the smoke alarm sound at home. The narrators explain how to exit the building safely and call for help, they also share the importance of having a plan in place at home.

One of the important messages in the video highlights the fact that anyone can contact their local fire and rescue service to request free smoke alarms.  Make it very clear to children that they do not call 999 for this service and that 999 is reserved for emergencies only.
