This bundle contains resources for two sessions focusing on water safety, one for KS3 and one for KS4+ students. The sessions highlight the dangers and consequences of entering open-water and how to react in a water-related emergency. There is also a useful factsheet included detailing the dangers of frozen water.
How To Use
Both sessions have been designed to spark discussion among the participants and the lesson plans contain ideas for questions to instigate these discussions. Use the plans to support delivery and sessions can be flexible with timings depending on length of time allowed for students to participate in the discussion elements of the sessions.
