This presentation is aimed at secondary students to highlight some key water safety messages with the summer approaching. There are details contained about the dangers of open water and how to react if you find yourself in the water. The first video is emotive and should be viewed prior to the session to assess whether any students may find it too distressing.
How To Use
This presentation should be used to teach KS3/4 students about the dangers of open water and the important lifesaving technique 'Float to Live'. As summer approaches this lesson could be incorporated into PSHE lessons or as a discussion stimulus to develop oracy skills.
