The aim of this session is to provide Fire Cadets with the skills to be able to operate Fire and Rescue Service Pumps safely, whilst considering the hazards, risks and control measures.
The key objective is for cadets to:
- Describe hazards, risks and safety control measures when working with pumps and pumping appliances.
How To Use
This presentation is part of the Unit 5 materials for Fire Cadet Award 2. Cadets should have completed all of Fire Cadet Award 1 before beginning to work on Award 2. Your instructors will be able to explain the structure of Fire Cadet Award 2 and which units are mandatory and which are optional.
