The aim of this session is to understand the methods of fire extinction and the applicable extinguishing media.
The key objectives are for cadets to be able to:
- Explain the methods of extinguishing a fire
- Explain what types of extinguishing media are used to extinguish different classes of fire
How To Use
This presentation is for Unit 21 for Fire Cadet Award 2. Cadets should have completed all of Fire Cadet Award 1 before beginning to work on Award 2. Your instructors will be able to explain the structure of Fire Cadet Award 2 and which units are mandatory and which are optional.
