The aim of this session is to provide and insight into the functions of the prevention department.
The key objectives covered are:
- To describe two ways in which the fire and rescue service help to prevent fire related incidents.
- To carry out a Home Fire Safety Check.
How To Use
This is the second session in Module 3 of Fire Cadet Award 1. Cadets should complete the units in order, starting with Module 1 - Induction and then completing Module 2 - Service Delivery before moving on to this module. The first session in this module focusing on protection.
