The aim of this session is to provide an insight into the functions of the protection department.
The key objectives covered are:
- To understand why the fire and rescue service protect the public from fire.
- To explain why the fire and rescue service carry out fire safety audits.
- To list three checks that a fire safety inspector will carry out in a public building.
How To Use
This is the first session in Module 3 of Fire Cadet Award 1. Cadets should complete the units in order, starting with Module 1 - Induction and then completing Module 2 - Service Delivery before moving on to this module.
