This KS3 presentation helps students stay safe during Halloween, Bonfire Night and the fireworks season. Through interactive discussion, real-life scenarios and safety advice, students explore the risks associated with fireworks, bonfires and anti-social behaviour, including deliberate fire-setting, hoax calls and attacks on firefighters. The lesson also highlights the legal and personal consequences of unsafe and anti-social behaviour and encourages young people to make responsible choices.

How To Use

Use this presentation as a teacher-led or blue light professional-led lesson with KS3 students. Follow the slide notes to facilitate discussions, question-and-answer activities, a video case study and a knowledge quiz. The presentation can be delivered as a standalone seasonal safety lesson or as part of a wider programme covering fire safety, personal safety and responsible behaviour.

The lesson plan for this session can be found below.
