Fireworks and Anti-Social Behaviour

Description

This engaging session invites students to watch a video of a news event and compile a narrative about the dangers of firework misuse and anti-social behaviour as part of an English lesson.

How To Use

Students are reminded of the definition of a narrative before watching the news video of an incident whereby youths posted a live firework through the letterbox of a house, deliberately targeting the occupant and his family causing the death of the mother.  Students are then invited to write a narrative account of the incident from different viewpoints.
