This Year 4 fire safety lesson, developed by Jersey Fire & Rescue Service, introduces pupils to key fire safety messages through an engaging and interactive presentation. The lesson covers essential topics including how fires start and spread, the importance of smoke alarms, planning safe escape routes, making a 999 call, recognising hazards in the home, and what to do in an emergency.

The session also reinforces critical safety behaviours such as Stop, Drop and Roll and highlights the dangers of hoax calls.
