This presentation includes engaging videos such as 'Firefighter Life' which is an action-packed video with an engaging narrator, following a group of Firefighters as they report for duty and also the Bitesize Videos - 'Stop, Drop and Roll' and 'Fire Action Plan', both of which promote valuable life saving safety messages.

How To Use

This presentation would be a fantastic resource to use as part of a unit of work about the people who help us and would be ideal to use if a visit to the local fire station was not possible.  Pupils are invited to engage with the presentation which aims to initiate discussions around the role of a Firefighter and the kit which they wear to keep them safe.  Some of the content may be triggering for some pupils. Enquire beforehand whether any pupil has been previously affected by fire either physically or emotionally and assess well-being of any affected individuals before continuing with the lesson.  Detailed guidance on how to use this presentation can be found in the lesson plan which is linked below.
