This worksheet is designed to be used after students have watched the Bitesize video about developing a fire action plan.  It will allow the children to recall the information from the video and help them retain their learning.  The lesson plan provides ideas on how to use the video as part of a fire safety lesson. There are activity ideas contained in the plan to help the children build on their learning from the video.

How To Use

Use this worksheet alongside the lesson plan to deliver a fire safety lesson using a StayWise Bitesize video. This worksheet provides a storyboard template for the main activity in the lesson. Sequencing events is a key skill in the English curriculum and the content of the lesson meets objectives from the PSHE curriculum.  There is a scaffolded worksheet for support if needed and also an extension worksheet that provides a more challenging option.

If you are completing this activity with younger children, advise them that they should wait for an adult to help them escape their home if it is too dark or smoky for them to see their way.
