A challenging design activity linked to learning how to stay safe. In this activity children will need to use ideas and design skills to create outfits that would make you more visible in the dark. There is an extension challenge that will develop the children's ideas by helping Jemima become more visible at night when she is out in her wheelchair.
How To Use
If you're looking for a design brief for a DT lesson, this activity would be perfect to challenge the children to design an outfit to fulfil specific requirements. It would also be a lovely, creative activity to add to PSHE learning about staying safe.
