Description
This is the 5th lesson in the series of history lessons that focus on Grace Darling and her life in Victorian times. This lesson concentrates on why we remember Grace Darling and builds on the learning from the previous sessions. The children will have a chance to be creative in this lesson by making a piece of memorabilia to remember Grace Darling using examples to inspire their ideas.
How To Use
This lesson provides an ideal opportunity to build some art and creativity into history lessons. You can be as flexible as you want with the medium that the children use to create their piece of memorabilia or allow the children to choose and take ownership over their artwork.
