Description
This is the first lesson in the Grace Darling unit and focuses on her life as she was growing up in Victorian times. In this lesson, the pupils are asked to gather information about the past from studying pictures of Grace Darling and her family.
How To Use
The Grace Darling unit could be used as a history topic for a half term, focusing on famous people in the past. The lessons could also link to a PSHE unit on water safety. This lesson encourages the children to use sources to gather information about the past.
