Description
In this session, the children will explore the events of the night that Grace Darling helped to rescue the survivors of the Forfarshire shipwreck. They will explore the events of that night in detail and use freeze-framing to break down the story and think about how the people involved would have been feeling during this traumatic event.
How To Use
Use this as the 3rd lesson in the Grace Darling series. This is an interactive, drama based lesson to encourage the children to imagine the night of Grace's famous rescue. There are worksheets attached for the children to write down some of their ideas about the thoughts and feelings of the people involved.
