This lesson introduces students to key water safety messages, helping them understand how quickly dangerous situations can develop in and around water. Through discussion and activities, students explore common myths, recognise hazards in different environments, and learn how to respond safely in an emergency.
Students are taught practical strategies such as Float to Live, making safe decisions, and how to get help quickly, building confidence to keep themselves and others safe.
