Description
This task helps to reinforce the need for proper planning before visiting a waterside location – particularly when planning an activity in the water. The session requires students to plan for an imaginary trip to a waterside location.
How To Use
Deliver this session to students to develop their water safety understanding. While planning safe excursions, they will need to consider important safety elements of each trip. Students can select one of the excursions on the list provided and write a plan for their chosen trip. The list of locations and other details needed can be found on worksheet 1 which could be displayed as a presentation or printed. Find this worksheet by clicking on 'Resource 1' below.
