Fire Safety in the Home - KS3

This session looks at the main causes of fire in the home. It explores a bedtime routine and how to escape in the event of a fire. It also looks at the importance of working smoke alarms in the home.  

This session could be used as part of a unit of work on managing risk and personal safety. It has been designed so that a member of the fire service or a class teacher can deliver the content successfully. This plan contains the details needed to share important home fire safety messages and the accompanying presentation will support delivery.
