Knife Crime - The Ripple Effect

Description

This lesson addresses the consequences of knife crime. It centres around a video that shares interviews from a range of people who have been involved in knife crime in some way; they all offer different perspectives. The students will have the opportunity to reflect on the ripple effect of an incident.

How To Use

Use this as part of a Health and Wellbeing session to focus on the impact of violent crimes. The main objective is for the students to consider the far-reaching impact of a violent incident involving a knife and how the effects will spread far beyond the offender and the victim. One incident could leave a life-changing impact on more people than they may at first believe.
