This lesson empowers young people to understand the realities and consequences of knife crime and gang involvement, aligning with the Serious Violence Duty. Through discussion, real‑world scenarios, and reflective activities, students explore why young people may feel pressured into risky situations and how to recognise early warning signs. The session challenges myths, builds critical thinking, and highlights the impact of serious violence on individuals, families, and communities. Students learn where to seek help, how to stay safe, and how to support peers, fostering a culture of confidence, resilience, and positive decision‑making.
