This lesson addresses the dangers of playing in rivers and encourages the children to think about the decisions made by the characters in the story.

How To Use

Use this lesson as part of a PSHE unit of work or it could be a thoughtful stimulus for freeze-framing and thought-tracking activities in English. The children can explore the safety messages contained in the lesson whilst they use presentation and creative skills to produce a poster or extend their writing opportunities by creating a newspaper report.
