Description
This lesson focuses on 4 water-based, real-life scenarios for students to consider the safest course of action to help themselves and other people involved. The students have the opportunity to select from multiple answers given and this provides an excellent opportunity for discussion about the benefits and dangers associated with each response listed.
How To Use
This session would be a valuable addition to a unit of work on water safety during PSHE lessons in KS3. Use the scenarios to spark discussions among the group and encourage the young people present to consider their behaviour choices carefully when in and around water.
