Fight or Float

Description

This short activity focuses on a vital piece of safety advice when it comes to water safety - float to live. The session highlights to the students that fighting and thrashing about when you find yourself in water unexpectedly is not the best strategy as it is exhausting. The safest thing to do is float on your back and allow yourself time to catch your breath.

How To Use

This activity would be an excellent starter to a water safety session in PSHE learning or as a safety assembly for KS3.
