Safety Seymour is a superhero bear from outer space on a mission to teach children and their families about Carbon Monoxide (CO) and how to protect themselves, making homes safer. This plan outlines how to use the Safety Seymour videos and teaching resources as part of KS2 PSHE lessons.

How To Use

The Safety Seymour videos teach the children about what carbon monoxide is, where it can be produced, how to stay safe from it and how it can affect our bodies. The plan gives ideas on how to link the videos and resources to deliver safety sessions to the class. They could be incorporated into PSHE lessons, used as activates during a PSHE day or even used in assemblies.

Click on 'Resource 1, 2, 3 and 4' below to find the videos that deliver the key safety information.  The resources for the other activity ideas in the lesson plan can be found under 'Related resources', a little further down the page.
