KS1 Bonfires, Halloween and Firework Safety

Description

This Bonfire and Halloween Safety lesson aims to give younger children key messages on keeping safe during the bonfire and Halloween period. It highlights the dangers of both bonfires and fireworks and keeping safe at Halloween. It will also identify safe clothing when attending a bonfire, firework or Halloween event and to know what to do if clothing catches fire. 

How To Use

Deliver this session to younger audiences in school or community groups to highlight the importance of following simple rules to remain safe during the bonfire and Halloween season.  Use the plan and accompanying presentation to provide details about the main dangers and how behaving safely during events is essential for the children's personal safety.
