This Bonfire and Firework lesson is aimed at KS2 pupils and gives advice on how to stay safe during the bonfire and Halloween period. It highlights the risks associated with bonfires and fireworks, how to stay safe and what to do in the event of an emergency.

How To Use

Use this lesson plan alongside the accompanying presentation to teach children about the seasonal dangers associated with bonfires and fireworks. It is aimed at KS2 pupils with the aim of reminding them that all bonfires and fireworks should be supervised by adults and explain the laws surrounding fireworks which are designed to keep young people safe.
