Firefighters Working With a Hose - Colouring Activity

The fire and rescue service use many different types of equipment when attending emergencies or incidents.  Just like in this colouring picture, when attending a fire, Firefighters will wear breathing apparatus to ensure they have a supply of breathable air and will use a hose to put out the fire.   

Children can get creative and colour in this picture of the Firefighter using any method they choose, will it be with crayons, colouring pencils, paints or felt pens?   Challenge the children to think about colours that would be appropriate for the Firefighter's kit.  However they choose to complete their picture, this activity will provide a great discussion point around the role of a Firefighter.
