Practise number recognition and counting skills with this engaging worksheet linked to fire safety.   A great resource to help the children with number recognition up to 10 and also pencil control as they carefully join the dots.  This resource links to the PSHE 'keeping safe' unit of work and the important safety message below the picture will either provide an introduction or will help to reinforce previous learning about fire-safety and the dangers of playing with matches and lighters.

How To Use

Encourage children to practise their pencil control and number recognition by joining the dots, starting at 1 to make a picture of Bernie Bear, the very special Fire Service Bear.  Once the picture is completed, children can get creative and colour in Bernie Bear. The children will also have the opportunity to practise letter formation and develop their handwriting skills by writing over the words of the important safety message below the picture.
