Firefighters give the public fire safety information. Sometimes they do this at fire stations or sometimes they go out and deliver it within the community. In this photo the public have ben invited to the fire station and the firefighter is letting a little girl use the hose to see what its like being a firefighter. Fire hoses can be really difficult and hard work to hold especially if there is a large pressure of water coming out. The fire service measure the power of the water coming out of the hose in pressure or Bar. this hose is using about 7 bar.
