Fire Engines at a Grassland Fire

Description

Grassland fires are often far away from Hydrants. A hydrant is the way in which the fire service are able to get water to extinguish fires when the fire engine runs out of water. The fire engine can hold around 1800 litres of water. If you look closely you can see one fire engine is filling the other fire engine up with water. When this is complete the first fire engine will drive back to the fire hydrant which may be a long way a way and the second fire engine will continue to try and put the fire out. the fire service calls this a water shuttle.
