Water safety education helping young people to stay safe

StayWise is helping children and young people build vital awareness around water safety through a range of free, curriculum-linked resources for use at home, in schools and in community settings.

The resources cover topics including rivers, lakes, canals, beaches and water safety in the home, with lesson plans, activities and films designed to help young people recognise risks, make safer choices and know what to do in an emergency.

Our thanks to South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service for their valued support and partnership in helping promote these important safety message. They were recently featured on ITV News highlighting their crucial water safety outreach work in the community.
