Hazard Cards

These cards encourage the children to think carefully about the pictures and use reasoning skills to explain their similarities and differences and think about which objects are safe and which are not.

There is a lesson plan accompanying these cards that can be found below.  The plan explains how the cards can be used as part of a memory pairing activity.  There are also ideas included about how to encourage discussions between the young children about the dangers linked to the different objects on the cards.
